Pacific Northwest Animal Welfare Project
works hand in hand with many of our
local animal shelters & rescues. One of these is
the
COLVILLE VALLEY
ANIMAL SANCTUARY . CVAS is a wonderful sanctuary
whose members are extremely dedicated to helping their local animals in need. PNWAWP wants to help get some of their "very special
animals" a home.
The animals we feature all
have qualities that we consider "special"
that make them wonderful and unique,
but in a shelter, those special
qualities makes it that much harder
for these great animals to get a forever home.....senior or elderly, deaf
or blind, 3 legged....all
make WONDERFUL best friends!!
I have special needs
animals in my own home (blind, 3 legged,
diabetic, elderly) and can tell you on a personal level,
without hesitation, that when you
adopt & save an older or special
needs animal, you will find you
get back so much more from that
animal than you ever could imagine....
Please, we need
everyone's help to find
these animals a home....these
wonderful animals deserve to have love, safety, a warm place to sleep
and a family to call their own! What a great
thing that would be to help these guys
find a home!!
Thank You for your time and I hope by
all of us working together,
we can get
the forever home for these special
animals that they deserve.
This handsome fella is OSCAR....

This handsome boys name is
Oscar
and he was found wandering the streets of
Chewelah looking miserable, cold and lost this winter. He was quite
crabby at intake so we named him Oscar the Grouch. With the warmth
and safety at the shelter his personality began to improve and we
let him out of his kennel to roam. Our kitty shelter is in an
unfinished, cement floored basement with a few resident mice and he
likes to hang out in the corners where he can hear them doing
whatever mice do and only kitties can hear. We finally realized he
had been declawed and understood why he was crabby. Oscar is also
FIV positive. Can you give Oscar a good home??
Next we
have
Stevie..

Stevie
is a beautiful 6 yr
old Neutered
Flame-Point
Himalayan. He has
the endearing
slightly cross-eyed
look and big
beautiful blue eyes!
He has an awesome
personality and
loves to play! We
think Stevie would
do best as an only
cat, he seems to be
a bit territorial
when other cats are
around. Like so many
of us, Stevie's one
downfall is
food...he LOVES it
and it shows. He has
packed on some
pounds and needs to
have his food intake
monitored! He will
need a home where
food is not out all
the time, this
includes other
animal food; dog
food and even parrot
food, he is a little
Hoover and will eat
it all if you let
him. Once he's in a
home where he can be
an 'indoor only'
kitty and have his
diet monitored, his
extra love handles
will melt away!
Like all long haired
animals, he does
need to be brushed
on a regular basis
to keep his coat
nice. Stevie is such
a wonderful cat,
don't hold his
weight against him!
Come and meet Stevie
today and I know you
will fall in love
with him! Stevie's
adoption fee is $25.
